The mattress on the bed was actually quite comfortable. The layout of the twin room was decent, providing enough space to move around.
Upon arrival, the room was notably cold, and the heating system seemed to lag behind, leaving me uncomfortable for some time. The bathroom fan was absurdly noisy. Wi-Fi issues cropped up daily, causing more frustration than necessary, and the fact that the pillows were of below-par quality was a letdown. In a stay longer than a night, you'd quickly notice the tea provisions dwindling, as room servicing was lacking.

The staff were all welcoming and accommodating, and the room was nicely decorated with a very comfy bed. The location was marvellous, near to the cathedral and lots of nice shops and food places, all the shops, and the quay and the shopping centre. There was Chorley's near the hotel.

The shower was a standout feature, with plenty of shelving for toiletries and a great water pressure. The room temperature was comfortable, providing warmth from both the radiator and towel rail. The space felt small for an extended stay, and the room's decor could use a refreshing update.
